OnGrid Tool Sign-up

There are two parts to the OnGrid Tool sign-up process:

  1. Licensing [Required for all users (Free Trial, Subscribing/Paying, Free “Back-Office”, and Free Student/Teacher/Non-Profit Users to protect OnGrid intellectual property]
  2. Payment [Needed only for Subscribing Users after the Free Trial period is over]

Signing-Up:
Please fill out this form and click the "Submit" button below to create the license agreement. Once the completed license agreement pops up, please print it (you can use the print button provided), then sign and fax it back to (888) 873-7029 or scan and email it to signup@ongrid.net.

You will receive instructions and an installer file by email once your fully completed form and signature have been received.

Why we need a license from everyone touching/using the Tool >>

All users need to be licensed to protect OnGrid intellectual property (IP). The license agreement says you agree not to share your access with any other person (including those inside your company or organization unless they’ve also completed, signed and submitted a license) and that you agree not to copy, crack, reverse engineer, steal, or otherwise abuse your access to the OnGrid Tool.

We asked to be paid for the salespeople who are benefiting from the output of the OnGrid Tool, regardless of who’s preparing the proposals. This means that if you have 1 person in the office producing all the proposals for 5 salespeople, we asked to be paid for the 5 salespeople. On the other hand, if you have 2 paid salespeople, you can also have any number of “back-office” staff (proposal production, administrative, engineering, managerial, etc) using and/or looking at the OnGrid Tool output at no charge as long as they are licensed if they will be accessing the Tool.

If you are a student or teacher, please include with your faxed license a copy of your student or teacher ID. Please indicate the time period for which you would like free access to the OnGrid Tool. There is no time limit or limit on the number of users at a school – we are happy to provide the best teaching tool available to help support the growth of the industry – we just ask that each person accessing the Tool register individually under their name and the name of the school.

If you are with a non-profit, please include with your faxed license a request on organization letterhead. Please indicate the time period for which you would like free access to the OnGrid Tool. There is no time limit or limit on the number of users at your organization – we are happy to provide the best tool available to help support the growth of the industry – we just ask that each person accessing the Tool register individually under their name and the name of the non-profit.

OnGrid Solar donates more than $50,000 per year in free use of the Tool to schools, non-profits, and others who are helping educate the public, plus the free copies we provide to students while in class.
